The latest generation LED headlights offer various types of choice and are much cheaper than those of 10/15/20 years ago.
The choice of headlights, the correct amount according to the size of your pool, the right position with respect to the solarium and other precautions, are important in order to have a homogeneous lighting, of the right intensity and with the right tones.
SMALL HEADLIGHTS
They are small in size and the cone of light they emit is logically smaller than the large ones. For this reason a greater quantity of light points is required, but these will be delicate in the final effect.
BIG HEADLIGHTS
They emit a larger beam of light and the pool will be lit evenly. Given the greater emission intensity in comparison to the small ones, fewer light points will be required.
WHITE-BLUE HEADLIGHTS
In this case it is possible to vary the color of the light: white, a classic color that has always been used in most pools and blue, which is more intense and suggestive. Everything depends on the 'mood' you are in that evening.
COLORED HEADLIGHTS
If you want to give space to the effects of color therapy, the desire to party, to change depending on the evening, you can opt for colored lights. The pool will take a thousand different tones or alternatively you can choose a color and make it remain fixed without changing effects.
RECATANGULAR HEADLIGHTS
Among the most modern headlights we find the rectangular-shaped solution that allows direct lighting of the pool or, optionally, even a soft lighting, thanks to the sole turning on of the perimeter of the light itself.
WARM LIGHT/COLD LIGHT
Among the white light headlights, both large and small, you can choose between warm light and cold light, depending on your personal tastes.
EXTERNAL MASK
The structure of the headlight is usually in white plastic. Depending on the aesthetic choices of the sheet and the covering, we usually adapt the color of the mask to the surrounding environment, to make the result even more beautiful.
It is also possible to choose stainless-steel masks: certainly very elegant, resistant and stainless over time.

As for the lighting, as mentioned above, knowing how to recommend the type of light suitable for the pool and the correct position of the lights, knowing how to correctly calculate the cone of light formed by each light point in order to determine precisely the right light for the tub is the prerogative of real professionals.
It happened to us sometimes to renovate swimming pools not made by us that had been applied excessive lighting (therefore annoying and with a waste of energy) or too poor (therefore with shaded areas that did not enhance the pool and made it less pleasant night use).
