Swimming, hydromassage and water features

Talking about swimming pools and wellness almost follows a natural course as it is an "automatic" union in the collective imagination.

COUNTER-CURRENT SWIMMING

Counter-current swimming is a device that can be added to any swimming pool (in particular a small pool or a mini-pool) capable of generating a stream of current similar to a river, against which one is stimulated to swim .

It is possible to choose the power and direction of the desired water flow - to make swimming in the pool more efficient - and to alternate training rhythms.

It is a great way to strengthen muscles, lose weight and improve health and wellness.

The pool  water features consist of water, water + air or just air supplies, aimed at creating both choreographic and hydrotherapeutic effects, thus completing the realized pool.

They may or may not be integrated into the pool's circulation system and may also have dedicated circulation systems, with independent control.

They are installed on the edge of the tub and once activated they create a cascading water jet positioning under which you can experience a pleasant and useful massage and hydrotherapy effect.

The shape of the waterfall and the nozzle from which the water comes out distinguishes the aesthetic typology of the fountain and also characterizes the type of massage that will take place on the body. For example, the cervical waterfall will create a jet with great flow and pressure, fully adjustable, directly on the neck with consequent benefits in the cervical area.

 

WATER EXERCISE BIKE AND TREADMILL

 

Moving in the water has numerous health benefits: the hydrostatic thrust limits the sudden movements and allows the back to decompress, relieving it from normal weight, making these exercises suitable for everyone, especially the elderly and overweight people.

Furthermore, the strong resistance caused by water makes the training more effective, strengthening the muscles, increasing aerobic resistance and stimulating circulation.

 

Among the aquatic activities of great benefit to the body there is the hydrospinnig which corresponds to the normal exercise bike with the only difference that it is practiced in water and therefore has an efficacy 10 times greater.

The positive effects of hydrospinning are an improved cardio-circulatory resistance, the tone of the abdominal muscles, of the legs, shoulders and arms.

Thanks to the massage exercised by the pressure of the water it reduces the adipose tissues and therefore improves the cellulite.

It is suitable for people of any age and of any level, even those who cannot swim.

 

To lose weight and tone without too much effort there is also waterrunning, the classic treadmill, used in this case inside the pool.

The benefits are really marked. The resistance in the tank is in fact much higher than that from the air and it is more difficult to maintain the balance, therefore the abdominal and back muscles are continuously stressed even without impact and excess, thanks to the presence of water.

 

ROUND JUMP AND AQUATIC POLE

  

The round jump is absolutely fun, training and very effective in both fitness and functional rehabilitation. All its properties are enhanced in water, without any risk to the joints.

It also proves to be very fun and engaging, making training more motivated and enjoyable.

 

The aquatic pole is simply the classic training pole immersed in the pool.

During the exercises, the muscles mostly working are the arms and the abdominals, but there are also some body positions that stress legs and buttocks.

It is a versatile tool that with its low weight allows easy placement and removal from the tank. The height of the pole is adaptable according to needs.

 

HYDROMASSAGE

Known since ancient Roman times, hydromassage is considered the ultimate wellness treatment, able to generate a feeling of physical and mental relief.

Thanks to the jet of water and air in fact not only relax and relax muscles but endorphins also develop, known as happiness hormones, which help to remove stress and give more positivity.

From the aesthetic point of view it is also the best ally against cellulite and blemishes.

The hydromassage system in the pool works through the escape of air, carried with special pipes in the desired places, which comes out of vents (usually 4, 6 or 8) with different adjustable intensities, positioned on staircases, on walls or on the bottom of the tub.

It is possible to use the whirlpool with home automation systems that allow it to be switched on, switched off or adjusted even while you are in the tub.
