Find out why the 'right fit' is what we suggest in this article

Among the questions that all customers ask me is that which concerns the height of the water: "What is the right size for the pool water?".

Usually they come with the "proposal" of 140/150 cm, but to be honest this is NOT the right choice to make.

I'll explain why.

WHAT HEIGHT THE POOL WATER SHOULD HAVE

The pool water should remain easily underneath the adult's armpit. The average height of the Italian adult is about 170 cm. It should also be considered that usually, when you are in the water, you walk or act or play with slightly bent legs. It is difficult to position oneself in the tank in a completely erect way.

For these reasons it is therefore RECOMMENDED for us to choose a pool water height of 120/130 cm.

It should also be borne in mind that the use of the pool is usually done by many people: parents, children, friends, relatives and it is therefore necessary to keep this fact in due consideration when choosing the right height of the water.

SWIMMING IN THE POOL

Even those who love swimming can feel comfortable as it will not be minimally penalized by this choice. In fact, 100/110 cm of water are enough to swim, so with 120/130 you are more than sure that you can swim without any problems whatsoever.

DIVING AREA

As for the construction of a possible diving area, if the pool has a length of less than or equal to 10 meters, then we recommend to make the floor completely flat, as in the picture.

If the pool is more than 10 meters long, a diving area can be created as in the picture below, with a height of 180 cm; if instead you want to use a trampoline, you need to reach a minimum height of 220 cm.

It is highly recommended to build the dive pit in the way we presented above and not as in the examples below.

The reason is easy to explain:

  1. With these last solutions, a lot of dirt accumulates on the bottom corner;
  2. The cleaner robot usually can not make the ascent of a high wall more than 160/170 cm total, which therefore remains dirty and must be cleaned by hand;
  3. In neither of these two solutions is the so-called "safety step" placed near the pool wall (see first photo). This step, on the other hand, has an important safety function, offering the possibility of being able to rest on it, re-emerging on the surface in case of possible illnesses;
  4. In the solution to the left in particular, the experience of the pool is less pleasant as you have the feeling of constantly going downhill and uphill with the possibility to enjoy it fully quite limited.

WHAT WE DO

You may have noticed that for some time we have been providing (and will continue to do so) materials that have a valuable content for those who want to have a swimming pool, so that all the most important information is available to each potential customer for a more accurate and suitable choice to their situation.

As I have already explained several times, the educated customer is the best customer that can happen to a seller, since his preparation puts him one step above the average buyer and makes him able to interact better with the company to which it is addressed.

HOWEVER, it is not possible to provide all the information and case studies in a blog article. There are many special circumstances and situations that need specialized and personalized advice that few professionals are able to give.

And that's where we come into play.

If you want to rely on someone with a thirty-year experience that EXACTLY KNOWS what he's talking about when he talks about swimming pools, then come and see me. Our advice is really special and follows a certified and reliable method that none of our competitors is able to offer. Which is equivalent to saying: reduction to minimize!

So I'll wait for you and, as always, may the force be with you!
