Lo and behold...

The pool in question this time was made by a gentleman of our parts, sent around by a major retailer of building materials, with seemingly competitive costs for customers who wanted to "save" (yes, yes ... why not).

This is a pool in a kit taken from a company in the north, mounted (as regards the structure) by a team from outside the region. Even the coating was made by a non-Marche team.

The result? Here it is!

  • Construction works carried out giving insufficient information to the client and with resulting errors
  • The pool loses because it has been badly welded in several points
  • The liner has anti-aesthetic folds and welds
  • Under the cladding there's a visible bolt that can pierce the liner at any moment
  • No guarantees, certifications of any kind or drawings for the execution of the works have been issued
  • The water in the pool was dirty, green and putrid

In the face of such a disaster, in the end, the customer called us!

WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO SOLVE THE SITUATION

  • We have resolded all the coating that was 'desoldering' and that was losing in many places
  • We have eliminated the bolt
  • We carried out a pressure check on the whole circulation system
  • We have controlled all the lighting system
  • We left written instructions on the use and maintenance of the pool

Unfortunately, the customer, who wanted to save money and who relied on a whatever pool builder, eventually spent several thousand euro more to fix all the flaws that occurred in the construction of his pool.

So remember to rely on real professionals when you decide to get yourself a pool and not to choose someone just for the price! As clearly exlpained in the article "How much does a pool cost ?", everything you save, you'll pay in other ways in the long run.
