Unfortunately it is true. Without questions. Without doubts. And for us working in the pool world only remains the possibility to bite the bullet.
Maybe you too had some doubts about it, and maybe you are already giving in to the temptations of the hydro-massage.
If we compare the perks of a hydro-massage with the ones of a pool, the first one may seem like the most sensed and rational choice.
Let’s go deeper into it:
BUREAUCRACY: no document or permit is required to put in our garden or rooftop a hydro-massage, the pool does.
PROJECT AND DESIGN: the pool requires a certain project of the surrounding area, the hydro-massage doesn’t.
COSTS: even if do exist some expensive hydro-massage (15/20.000 euro), the amount is not even comparable to the pool ones.
USAGE TIME: the pool can is mainly used during summer or maximum, thanks to the heating pump, also during May/June and September/October. The hydro-massage is conceived to be used also when it snows.
MAINTENANCE: a hydro-massage needs almost no maintenance. You can empty and fill it quickly, you need just a few hours. So simple compared to the pool.
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION PHASE: not more than one day for the hydro-massage. Months for the pool.
PLEASURE AND HYDROTHERAPY: the hydro-massage is an actual wellness tool. Its stations allow you to get some massages for different parts of your body. The hydro-massage can be installed also in the pool, but it is not the same as the basin is way bigger and it therefore loses its power. Furthermore, a hydro-massage can have up to 50/60 nozzles, a pool can have a limited number of that.
It is quite obvious that this competition is won by the hydro-massage, right?
Apparently looks so, but actually it doesn’t!
Beyond all the other advantages that the pool offers compared to the hydro-massage (swimming, water games, parties, hosting relatives, esthetic, relax and so on…) we have to mention a crucial point making of the pool the superior item talking about value.
If you buy a hydro-massage you can’t brag with your friends inviting them to your place. You don’t go like “hey come over, I’ve got the hydro-massage”… You can surely do it with the pool insted.
You will be able to show off your magnificent pool and to demonstrate you are that self-made man/woman, that person who just built a wonderful house and can invite over some friends and relatives and enjoy it all together.
This is the real reason why the pool is way superior compared to the hydro-massage!
It may sound silly, but it is how it is.
Almost all of our competitors also sell hydro-massages, Jacuzzi, saunas and so on… WE DON’T.
If you’re still after a hydro-massage, then go to whoever you desire.

PS1: If you’re thinking something like “I know so many people owning the indoor hydro-massage and they never use it”, you’re right! After having used it once or twice, they just don’t want to empty and fill it again and again, so they never use it. This problem doesn’t occur outside as the water needs to be changed every tot.
PS2: Anyway there is an ideal solution: to have both! As plenty of our customers did. For instance, someone created a hydro-massage area just next to the pool, so that everyone can be happy!
