This time we move to the Ancona hinterland, where the landscape is marked by sinuous hills crossed by small, winding streets and long rows of vineyards.
In these places of peace and tranquility, close to one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy (Sassoferrato), we have created an elegant infinity pool, where water and sky merge into an endless horizon.
A SHARP AND TREBLE TERRAIN
In front of the house, the ground was very steep and required a precise and accurate technical analysis before the construction of the swimming pool. In fact, at a structural level, each tank contains hundreds of liters of water which exert a considerable weight on the ground below. It is necessary to calculate precisely the values that will allow to build a pool in complete safety. Taking the measurements and the area with the drone is part of our procedures, precisely to accurately evaluate every possible critical issue, especially when the ground is impervious and steep.
THE WORK PHASE
Once we had chosen the most suitable area for building the pool, we started the work. We cast a reinforced concrete base and assembled the structure, all completely in stainless steel (the best solution for seismic areas and for steep areas, as it is lighter and more flexible).
THE TANK AND THE OVERFLOW
When the position allows it, the search for a sense of continuity with the architectural and landscape context thanks to the infinity design is almost a must. The clear profile of the spillway edge overlooks the belvedere and visually extends the stretch of water that is lost in the surrounding hills.
The pool measures 14 x 5 meters and is 130 cm high, covered with a latest generation marbled sand-colored liner, for a very natural effect.
The entrance to the swimming pool consists of long steps that go from side to side, while the LED lighting uses 8 white / blue spotlights, very impressive during the night.
For the remaining three walls of the pool, the overflow under the edge was instead opted for, a very innovative overflow system, in which the channel is located between two steel walls placed in the perimeter area of the pool. This type of solution is especially suitable for seismic areas such as those of our region, which are particularly subject to stresses and ground movements.
The solarium, clad in porcelain stoneware with wood effect, emphasizes the country flavor of the place and home. The choice of comfortable beds with a "vintage" touch and the set consisting of table and chairs in natural wood, all well suited to the context as a whole, is very appropriate, while the comfortable seats enriched with colored cushions, offer a refreshment corner where you can read a good book or cool off with a refreshing drink.

Building an infinity pool is a delicate and complex job. It cannot be commissioned to anyone, unless it is a specialized company with a lot of experience acquired in this type of creation.
