Massignano, a small viallage located in the immediate hinterland of Ascoli a few kilometers from the Adriatic coast, is a small medieval hamlet whose charm has remained intact over the centuries.
It is here that we built this particular swimming pool, taking into account the structure of the garden characterized by areas developed on different levels, adapting the project to the slope of the place, the surrounding landscape and the architecture of the housing complex.
The solution was to exploit the conformation of the land by creating a tank on two different levels.
FEATURES OF THE POOL
The panoramic infinity pool, made of reinforced concrete, measures 10 x 4 meters and has a height of 130 cm.
An anthracite gray sheet was chosen for the cladding, capable of giving the water a very natural effect, while the entrance area was created with elegant linear steps.
The LED lighting highlights the entire pool at night.
THE FOUNTAINS AND THE OVERFLOW AREA
A special feature of this construction is the addition of three fountains on the brick wall that delimits the upstream area of the pool. An original touch with a country flavor that is well suited to the living context.
The choice of the infinity edge on the side that faces the valley, underlines the beauty of the landscape and the splendid view that extends to the sea, in a wonderful play of greens and blues.
The design concept was conceived to make the most of the compensation tank area as well, created in such a way that the edge constitutes a seat well enjoyable while relaxing next to the pool water.
