In the province of Ascoli, between the valley of the river Menocchia and the Tesino one, arises the little, enchanting suburb ‘Cossignano’. The medieval suburb, counting less than 1000 locals, is also known as the ‘Ombelico del Piceno’ (The navel of Piceno), a name suggested by its equidistance from Ancona and Atri.
It is here where Mr. Nino Cortorillo and Mrs. Carla Parietti moved from Milan after falling in love with the Marche’s beauty and with these not so popular places, deciding to change their lives and to realize the dream of owning a house to make out of it a B&B.

THE INFINTY POOL
The infinity pool built by Professione Piscina has found a place right here, where you can smell peace and serenity.
The structure of the basin is made of concrete, 12 X 4.5 and 130cm height. They went for a anthracite grey liner, making the pool elegant and natural. Wide steps going from side to side characterize the entrance and the white/blue LED lights highlight its beauty during the peculiar night hours.
The choice of the infinity overflow was dictated by its location, directly facing the valley you can see the little suburb ‘Cossignano’ from. Its view is enhanced by the infinity effect on the long side of the pool, falling on the landscape as it was a single entity.
The final outcome is spectacular and very elegant, also thanks to the wood-effect pavement surrounding the perimeter of the pool and to the perfect harmony with the garden.
WHEN THE GARDEN IS ESSENTIAL
More than once we pointed out the importance of creating a surrounding situation enhancing the pool and its shape, by choosing the plants, trees and flowers going along with the house and landscape styles.
In this case the property is surrounded by a big green-area of 5.000 square meters, enriched by more than 1.000 trees, plants and flowers. The vegetable garden and the main one are crossed by small paths you can appreciate the scents and colors in, which go from purple to light-blue, to white, from rose to violet… they always change depending on the hours and as the seasons change.
