We have sometimes had clients ask us over the years: “Are you affiliated with the number one brand in Europe?”
It’s a natural question, given that we are talking about a very well-known, large name present in many countries, and especially strong in the world of public swimming pools, Olympic pools, and large sports facilities.
In that context, they are indeed a benchmark. We are talking about huge projects, where advanced technologies, complex systems, standardization, and a large-scale industrial organization are required. That is their world: everything is replicable, certified, and managed on a large scale.
However, there is something that can lead to misunderstandings.
In the swimming pool market, it can happen that people see the most famous brand, hear about it for years, find it everywhere… and automatically think: “Okay, then they must be the best.”
It is a bit like assuming that the largest restaurant chain in the world automatically cooks better than everyone else.
It doesn’t work like that.
Because in the world of residential in-ground pools, there are two completely different approaches: on one side there are large groups with massive numbers, extensive sales networks, strong marketing, and standardized processes. On the other side there are smaller companies, leaner, more specialized, and much more focused on the customer.
Direct-to-customer or through dealers?
The large brand works through a network of local dealers.
Some are well structured, others less so, and they often also operate in other sectors (water treatment systems, irrigation, bathrooms, and so on). They are not always exclusively swimming pool specialists, and this inevitably leads to very different experiences, especially in construction site management and after-sales service.
We, on the other hand, make a completely different choice: we work only with swimming pools, particularly high-end overflow pools. We follow the client directly from start to finish: we are the ones who study the project, we are the ones who develop it, and we are the ones who build it.
This allows us to know every detail, every phase, and every decision made along the way.
Why we chose to remain independent
This choice was not random, on the contrary.
We have kept three very simple principles:

1. FREEDOM TO CHOOSE MATERIALS AND ACCESSORIES
The type of collaboration proposed by that brand works only under exclusivity.
In other words: once inside that system, we would only have been able to use their products. No alternatives.
And for us this is a huge issue, because it means losing the freedom to truly choose the best solution case by case.
In the private swimming pool world this is fundamental, because there is no single solution valid for everyone. Every construction site is different, every client is different, every space has completely different constraints and opportunities.
Over more than forty years of work we have seen and used practically everything. And we have learned one thing very well: there is no single best product in absolute terms. There are many valid solutions, often developed by very specialized companies, which in some contexts offer even superior performance in terms of durability, reliability, and warranties.
For this reason we prefer to choose each time what is truly most suitable for the single project, without brand constraints.
It is a free choice, but above all a choice made in the interest of the client.
2. POSSIBILITY TO CUSTOMIZE EVERY PROJECT
Freedom of choice brings another fundamental advantage: customization.
When working within a closed system, many decisions are inevitably influenced by predefined products, procedures, and solutions.
We prefer to start from the client and the specific context.
Every swimming pool is built in a different environment, with different architectural characteristics, aesthetic requirements, and objectives. That is why we believe the project must adapt to the client and not the other way around.
Being able to choose between more technologies, more materials, and more solutions allows us to build truly tailor-made swimming pools, without being tied to a predefined catalog.

3. OUR WORKING METHOD
The product is important, of course, but it is only part of the final result.
What we really focus on is the method: how we design, how we manage the construction site, how we coordinate the works, how we manage the client, and above all how we intervene afterwards, when the pool is already in operation.
Our team is internal and structured, with clear roles, and follows every phase without intermediaries. This allows us to maintain control over quality and always choose the most suitable technical solutions, without commercial constraints.
Over more than forty years of experience we have learned to read a project even before building it: understanding what will work, what may create critical issues, and how to avoid future problems.
After-sales: the key point where things often go wrong
This is probably one of the most important points.
We have two teams dedicated only to maintenance and after-sales service, operating all year round, even in the busiest periods.
Because a swimming pool does not choose when to have a problem, and the client must never be left alone.
And then there is another fundamental aspect for us: direct relationship.
Those who work with us speak directly with us, without filters. If a problem or issue arises we deal with it immediately, if intervention is needed we do it within 24/48 hours at most, if a solution is needed we find it together.
Anyone who has a swimming pool knows how essential this is.
