In the green Leopardi’s land, surrounded by olive trees and sunflowers, we built one of our latest pools.
An elegant and distinct project, where marble dominates unopposed in the garden, with its hot brightness, its natural streaks and various reflections.
THE MARBLE CROSSED BY THE ZERO EDGE OVERFLOW
This magnificent, huge dimensioned (20 X 6,5 m) pool was built in reinforced concrete and covered by white marble, used also as part of the pavement along the pool’s perimeter.
The wonderful entrance has been made of a great beach-area followed by side-to-side wide steps which gradually slide into the water.
The white LED lights are square shaped, modern and minimal.
As a peculiar touch, we also inserted a mini-overflow pool built nearby, making of the water the main leader of the whole garden surrounding the house.
THE GARDEN AND POOL PROJECTS
Luigina Giordani, popular landscaper and owner of the Architecture Office 'GiardiniGiordani’, tells us about how this project was born.
“This green area has been modeled to be fully lived and appreciated by its young owners after a long working day. Conceived to relax outside or to welcome some friends in the living areas, in the spacious garden, on the grass or on the pavement, that goes around declined borders in a rich range of trees and plants.
In the garden project, the water plays a fundamental role thanks to the fountain and, in particular, to the huge pool conceived in continuum with the house exploiting a marble and wood-slats pavement.
I gave importance to its particular position to facilitate its usability and to enjoy the big grass area that opens up in front of it. Furthermore, the water reflects just like a mirror the architecture of the villa and highlights its characteristics.
The construction of every pool is always a very complex work. The great collaboration with Professione Piscina turned out being fundamental in every phase thanks to their competence and organization.”
