Or not?

I’ve always thought that a person is free to spend the money he earns, his own way. That’s my first statement.

Anyone who dares to judge the way someone spends the money he/she earned with plenty of efforts probably never worked as hard as he needed to in order to achieve his dreams or maybe he just wasn’t able to take on the challenge (luck has its involvement too, but we know fortune favors the bold). So let me repeat that: everyone spends his money his own way (until it’s legal, obviously).

Going deeper into the topic, I’d say it may have sense and forward-looking to invest some money into things that can enrich our lifestyle and that make us enjoy life itself.

Such as:

  • Healthy and bio foods, if possible;
  • Courses to sharpen our professional and personal skills;
  • Sports and hobbies to get us in shape;
  • Activities that boost our dreams, desires and goals in order to strengthen our spiritual being.

Let me ask this question: wouldn’t it be better to invest our money in something that makes our life easier and more comfortable instead of keeping that same money in our bank accounts just to play it safe, thinking about future consequences?

From a mere economic point of view, I’d like not to be pessimistic (not my nature), but let’s analyze these points:

  • The real danger of a currency’s value decrease, due to unsettled markets;
  • The danger of new taxes, created to handle the national debt;
  • Covid situation in general, that may or may not continue as time passes by (variants and so on…).

Knowing what we know, it may be wiser to invest time and money into something valuable, instead of keeping it in the bank and gambling with the precedent points.

If this may be considered as a rational analysis of the actual situation, it therefore means that someone or something is taking our freedom away from us.

What is this thing that keeps us from freely choose how to spend our money?

I’ll talk about it in another article, deal?

See you!
